About Vito's Italian Restaurant

Italian family restaurant

Located at 2258 Golden Gate Dr, Greensboro, NC 27405, Vito's Italian Restaurant operates as an italian restaurant serving Greensboro in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 370-0084. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 679 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Greensboro and suggests consistent service.

A great find! We had Pasta Milano and Penne Vodka. Both the pastas were delicious. Good portion sizes. Caesar salad was awesome. The bread was warm and must try with the tomato oil. The service was good too. Very family friendly place, warm, hospitalable touch.

Tried Vito’s Italian recently and overall I’d say it was decent, definitely better than Olive Garden in most ways, although the atmosphere could use some work. My boyfriend got the Tour of Italy. The lasagna was really good, the chicken parm was just okay and kind of forgettable compared to the other items, and the Alfredo pasta was honestly the standout at first bite. It came out hot, creamy, and flavorful. The only downside was that after it sat for a while, grease started collecting at the bottom, which made it a little harder to finish toward the end. I got the Penne Pomodoro, and for the price the portion size was great. It wasn’t anything super fancy or mind-blowing, but it tasted comforting and homemade, which was exactly what I was craving that night. The salad was really good. The bread, though, was just okay. It came out warm, but even with butter and dipping sauce it didn’t do much for us. We kind of rushed to eat it because we were trying to help our server by letting her pre-bus the table, but honestly I wish we had saved it for the entrees instead. One thing I noticed was that my dish came out a little before my boyfriend’s, and the temperature difference was pret

Vito's is a true hidden gemΒ in Greensboro! A Tuesday evening visit was met with a warm, homey atmosphere that felt like a family-owned spot back in the Northeast. Despite it being a weekday, the service was top-notch; the team made us feel like regulars immediately. The food was very good - you can tell everything is made in-house. Definitely will return.

In town for a dance competition and was looking for good Italian close to downtown. This place did not disappoint! Huge portions and the bread was amazing!

This is a hidden gem. We were so pleased with our meal, the service and the relaxed atmosphere at Vitos. It was exactly what we wanted after a long tiring week. My mother used to always say that if the salad is good, you will have a nice meal. The salad was fresh, the bread and tomato oil, epic! My eggplant parm hit the spot!
